Don't Miss The 2016 Jingle Rock Run
What could be more fun than a run through downtown Honolulu in support of Make-A-Wish? Doing the run dressed up in your most festive holiday attire. Come in your reindeer antlers, Santa hat or jingle bells to the Jingle Rock Run on Dec. 18. The race begins at 3 p.m. at the Hawaii State Capitol building (415 S Beretania St).
Course And Registration Details
The Jingle Rock Run will feature something for everyone no matter your age. Walkers, joggers, runners, strollers and even pets are welcome at the run. 5K Adult registration is $35, or you can register with your pet for $40. Kids ages 4-12 can register for the Keiki Sprint or 5K for $25. Military members with a valid military ID can register at a discounted price of $30. All of the event proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Hawaii, which will help them grant more wishes in the year to come!
Teams can also be formed on the event website. If you can't make it to the run, you can still help a runner or team by pledging to their fundraising efforts on the event website. Check out the event website for registration details.
Race day registration begins at 1 p.m. at the State Capitol building. There will also be a pre-race packet pick up on a day and time to be determined. Parking is available at Ali'l Place on Richards Street or Bishop Square.
Awards will be given to the top finishers in each category. The top three men and women in the Elite Runner category will receive an award. All Keiki Sprint participants will receive a medal for finishing. Since the race is all about being festive and making a difference, prizes will also go to the person with the best costume, largest team participating and the team that raises the most for Make-A-Wish.
